What’s New for 2026?

The Centennial Pines Invitational continues to grow, and the 2026 event introduces several exciting updates designed to elevate the competitive experience and make this one of Thunder Bay’s premier amateur golf tournaments.

16 Player Championship Flight

For 2026, the Championship Flight will feature 16 of the region’s top players competing in match play. This format creates a true championship bracket and allows more top-level competitors the opportunity to battle for the Invitational title.

Inaugural Women’s Flight

We are proud to introduce the first ever Centennial Pines Women’s Flight. This division will follow the same competitive match play format and is designed to create more opportunities for high-level women’s golf in Thunder Bay.

Tee Time Start for Qualifying Round

The qualifying round will now begin with scheduled tee times, allowing for a smoother start to the tournament and a better experience for players and spectators.

Expanded Field – 80 Players

The tournament field has been expanded to 80 players, making the Centennial Pines Invitational one of the largest competitive amateur events in the region.

Elevated Prize Pool

Thanks to the support of our sponsors and partners, the 2026 Invitational will feature increased prize payouts across multiple flights, further raising the level of competition and excitement throughout the event.
